It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barry Schott, a beloved husband, father, Poppop, brother and cherished friend, who departed this life on December 22, 2025. Survived by his devoted spouse, Delores "Dee" Schott, Barry's warmth, playful spirit, and kind heartedness will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Barry's life revolved around his family, completely devoted to his loved ones, especially his best friend and soulmate, Dee. Their bond was a shining example of love and partnership, a testament to the beautiful journey they shared together. Barry found great joy and purpose in being a father and Poppop, always there with a helping hand or a shared laugh.
A passionate enthusiast of racing in all its forms, whether it be dirt racing, drag racing or navigating an RC track, Barry enjoyed them all. His love for fixing up muscle cars was more than a hobby; it was his creative outlet and another way to connect with others who shared his passion. Beyond his hobbies, Barry's heart was full of love for his dogs-Sadie, Teddy, and Clee-Clee-who brought laughter, companionship, and endless amusement into his life.
Barry had the ability to bring joy to others through his humor and laughter. Family gatherings were never complete without cracking jokes, teasing those he loved and Barry's laughter turning ordinary moments into cherished memories.
