Barbara S. (Smeal) Long, 82, widow of Leonard Long of Stowe, PA passed away on Sunday May 22, 2016 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Clearfield, PA she was the daughter of the late Robert and Georgia (Strong) Smeal-Reed. Barbara was a seamstress for the former Sunset Manufacturing Co. and Humphries Flag Co. of Pottstown, PA .Surviving are four children Penny widow of Robert Berger of Zieglersville, PA, Leonard Long of Douglassville, PA, Barry Long of Pottstown, PA and Kevin Long of Stowe, PA . She was pre-deceased by a son David Long who passed away in 2009. Barbara is also survived by a sister Cheryl R. wife of Michael Pollick of Pottstown, PA and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was also pre-deceased by a brother Linn Smeal. Funeral services will be Thursday , May 26, 2016 at 11 A.M. From Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA with the Rev. Malcolm Carr, Pastor of Heidelburg U.C.C. Schwenksville, PA officiating. Private interment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown, PA . A viewing will be Thursday morning from 10 -11 A.M. at the Funeral Home.
