Barbara Bartchak

Barbara (Bunny) Brower Bartchak, was born on December 4, 1939 in Mohrsville, PA to the late Clifford and Harriet Brower Minch (Elliot). Formerly of Pottstown, PA she has resided in Golden Living Center in Exeter, PA since 2011. Barbara passed away on August 10, 2016 of natural causes at the age of 76. Barbara was a 1957 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School. She worked for most of her life serving others, working at Hamburg State Hospital in Hamburg, PA for 30 years. Since 1982 Barbara spent her life as an active advocate for the advancement of Traumatic Head Trauma Care. Barbara loved to travel, both within the US and abroad and could always be found at the nearest Polka Festivals. She was a lifetime member of St. Aloysius R.C.C. in Pottstown, PA . In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by her siblings; Edward VanSant of Shoemakersville and Judy Minch of Covina, CA. She is survived by a sister Donna Mertz of Mohnton, PA . She is survived by her children; Denise Jones Werner-Kline, Ronald Scott Jones, and Gary Charles Jones-Price all of Pottstown, PA; grandchildren Jessica Rostek and husband Troy, Rebecca Werner, Sarah Werner, Bobbie Kline, Angel Jones and Scott Jones. Barbara is also survived by great- grandchildren Erin, Brendan, Lydia, Alexis, Gabriella, Isabella, Tabitha, William, Annabella, Delilah, Kaylee and Adreanna. A viewing will be held on Monday evening, August 15, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. at Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA with a prayer service at 8 P.M. officiated by a priest from St. Aloysius R.C.C. of Pottstown, PA Graveside services will be held on Tuesday August 16, 2016 at 11 A.M. from Leesport Cemetery, Leesport, PA .
