Arlene F. Orlando

Arlene Orlando ,95, wife of the late Eugene Orlando Sr. of Pottstown passed away Tuesday April 28, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Wood, PA she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Leona (Thomas) Buseck. She was employed during WWII in Sparrows Point, MD where she spot-welded ammunition cans and later was employed at Spicer's in Pottstown. After leaving Spicer's she became a full-time homemaker where she raised her children. She was a woman of faith and loved her family and church. In 2018, she made final profession in the Lay Carmelite Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. She was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Lady's Auxilary, the Women's Group of St. Aloysius and the First Friday Rosary Group. Surviving are her 3 children- Leona Gabel widow of Richard, Eugene Orlando Jr husband of Ginger, and Thomas Orlando husband of Linda. Brother's Albert and Theodore Buseck and Sister Ina Mae DeCarlo. 5 Grandchildren Faith (Curtis) Silknitter, Hope (Michael) Girard, Becky (Brian) Root, Michael (Fiancé of Beth Williams) Gabel, and Eugene (Katrina) Orlando III. 9 Great Grandchildren- Marissa and Katelyn Dobbs; Stephen, Samuel, Shane, Spencer and Simon Girard; and Charlotte and Grace Orlando. She was predeceased by 3 brothers and 4 sisters Charles, Mark, Anna, Carrie, Jean, Mary, and Zane. Son-in-law, Richard A. Gabel A Funeral mass will be live-streamed via Saint Aloysius Roman Catholic Church on Monday May 4, 2020 at 11am. www.saintaloysius.net Burial will be private.
