Anne N. O'Dell

Anne N. (Noll) O'Dell , 95, widow of Douglas V. O'Dell, Sr. of Pottstown, PA passed away on Wednesday October 12, 2016 at Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA . Born in Reading, PA she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Peters) Noll. After graduating from the nursing program at Pottstown Hospital she worked as a nurse during World War II while serving in the U.S. Navy. Following the war she worked as a nurse at Pottstown Hospital. She then worked as a clothing advisor for the former Holland-Moritz clothing store of Pottstown, PA Anne was a member of St. Aloysius R. C. C. 223 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA . She was also a former member of Brookside Country Club. Surviving are two sons , Major General (Retired, Marine Corp) Douglas V. O'Dell, Jr. husband of Judith of LaPorte, PA and Timothy N. O'Dell of Corinth, Vermont. She is also survived by her daughter Muffin wife of David R. Sutton of Pottstown, PA . Anne was also pre-deceased by a son Christopher N. O'Dell. She is also survived by a sister Mary Jane Mauger of Virginia and ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C. on Saturday October 15, 2016 at 11 A.M. Private interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Buchert Road, Lower Pottsgrove Township.
