Ann M Worrall

Ann Marie Worrall, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 27, 2026.

 Born on February 26, 1945, to Michael and Ella Hegedus, Ann was one of 13 children in a large and loving family. She was preceded in death by her siblings George, John, Paul, Joseph, Michael, Mary, Monica Rapchinski, Robert, Donald, and James Hegedus. She is survived by her sister, Rita Ferraro, and brother, Ronald Hegedus.

 Ann is also survived by her sons, Darrin (his wife Christine) and Craig, her grandson Brandon, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

 Ann was a 1963 graduate of St. Pius X High School in Pottstown. She was briefly employed at Borough Hall before moving to Saudi Arabia with her family. She later moved to New Albany, PA before eventually settling in Wappinger Falls, NY. In 2008, Ann returned to Pottstown, where she made her home with her sister.

 Throughout her life, Ann brought dedication, pride, and her unmistakable attention to detail to everything she did. Ann worked at Mailboxes etc where her creativity and perfectionism found the perfect outlet in her unique and skillful packaging. Also worked at Alp's Sweet Shop where she happily intensified her lifelong love of dark chocolate. Lastly, she especially loved her time as a hall monitor at Spackenkill High School and walking hundreds of miles around the track with her work friends. Whatever the job, Ann took pride in doing it well.

 One of Ann's greatest pleasures later in life was writing in her journal every day. She began journaling in 1996 and continued faithfully for nearly 30 years, creating a remarkable record of the everyday moments of her life.

 Her days also wouldn't have been complete without a trip to Dunkin' for her iced coffee-an absolutely fabulous way, in Ann's eyes, to start each morning. She also dearly loved her two granddogs, Maxie and Forest, treat after treat! 

Can't forget to mention going to Phillies games with her siblings on Dollar Dog Day (she loved her hot dogs). She also cheered on the Eagles and Flyers!

 Ann's faith and church community were an important part of her life. She was active in the Holy Trinity Ladies Guild for more than 15 years and was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Slovak Catholic Church.

 Ann will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her strong faith, her perfectionist streak, her creativity, her love of dark chocolate and iced coffee, and the many small traditions that made her uniquely Ann. She will be deeply missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched.

 A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Church 127 Jefferson St., Stowe Pa 19464. A Memorial Mass will promptly begin at 11 a.m. at the Church.

 Interment will be private.
