Alma P. Nester

Alma P. "Sis" (Moyer) Nester, 85, widow of Edwin K. Nester, Sr. of Pottstown, PA died Tuesday August 12, 2014 at Taylor Hospice, Ridley Park, PA . Born in Pottstown, PA she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Martha (Ibach) Moyer. Alma was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C., 223 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA where she had worked in the school cafeteria for over 30 years. She enjoyed water exercises at the Pottstown Y.M.C.A. Surviving is a son Edwin K. "Scott" Nester, Jr. husband of Denise (Segnere) of Ridley Park, PA. Also, two grandchildren Scott S. Nester husband of Karen of Ridley Park, PA and Renee Nester of Media, PA . Alma is also survived by four sisters Anne Yanessa, Doris Reigner, Elsie Mae Spaar and Grace Mazza all of Pottstown, PA. She was pre-deceased by seven brothers and three sisters. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C. on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 11 A.M. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Buchert Road, Lower Pottsgrove Township. The family will receive friends on Monday from 9:30-10:45 A.M. in the Gathering Center of St. Aloysius R.C.C.
