Alice M. Strieby

Alice M. Strieby, age 100, passed away Oct. 9, 2018, in her home in Pottstown, PA. Alice was formerly a long time resident of Quincy, IL. She was born in Kansas City, KS on May 19, 1918 to Katherine and Jesse Bodine. She married Frank M. Strieby on October 11, 1940.  They had four children: Stuart of Southampton, NJ, Michael (Ardis) of Evergreen, CO, Jane Sutera of Pottstown, PA.  Alice was proceeded in death by her husband, her parents, her siblings: Agnes Clune, Ralph, Richard and James Bodine and her son, James, Jane's twin brother. She is survived by her sister Louise Fleetwood, Belton, MO and nine grandchildren: Stephanie (Rob) Rowe of Pottstown, PA, Scott (Ashley) Sutera of Omaha, NE, Jon Strieby of Denver, CO, Kelli Strieby of New York, NY, Stephen (Mary) Strieby of Twenty Nine Palms, CA, Justin (Jessica) Strieby of Easley, SC, Jessica (Jon) Sauser of St. Charles, IL, Jenna (Jeff) Monger of Kansas City, MO, James (Liza) Strieby of Edwardsville, KS. She is blessed with seven great grandchildren: Jacob, Nicholas and Sarah Jane Rowe, Everett and Griffin Sauser, Will Strieby and Julian Monger.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well many great nieces and nephews. A private burial service will be held in Quincy, IL at a later date. Donations can go to the Frank M. Strieby Memorial Scholarship at Quincy University in Quincy, Illinois.
