Alfred Jackson

Deacon Alfred Jackson, 75, husband of Julia C. (Turlington) Jackson of West Vine Street, Stowe, PA passed away on Wednesday October 8, 2014 at his residence. Born in Sumter, SC he was the son of the late Thomas & Katie (Brewer) Jackson. Deacon Jackson was a U.S. Army Veteran. He attended Trinity Reformed Church, King & Hanover Streets, Pottstown, PA and was a member of the Pottstown Senior Center. Surviving with his wife is a son Christopher L. Jackson of Allentown, PA . Also, four daughters Michele Johnson wife of Tim of Upper Marlboro, MD, Velda Johnson also of Upper Marlboro, MD, Chiffon Jackson and Tyvesha Jackson both of Stowe, PA. He is also survived by two brothers English Scriven of Middleton, DE and Thomas Jackson of Philadelphia, PA and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday October 18, 2014 at 11 A.M. from Trinity Reformed Church 60 North Hanover Street, Pottstown, PA. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. A viewing will be Saturday from 10-11 A.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Pottstown Senior Center 2675 East High Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
