Albert A. Lastoskie

Albert A. "Big Al" Lastoskie, 83, husband of Evelyn M. (Yermalovich) Lastoskie of N. Valley Road, Lower Pottsgrove Township died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA . Born in Shamokin, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Tarcheskie) Lastoskie. Al had worked as a pattern maker for Stanley G. Flagg's Company, formerly of Stowe, PA before retiring in 1994. Al was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C., Pottstown, PA . He was also a member of many clubs in the Pottstown area and was an avid pool player. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving with his wife Evelyn, who he was married to for sixty-two years, he is survived by three sons . Albert A. "Tim" Lastoskie, Jr. companion of Denise of Pottstown, PA, Allan S. Lastoskie husband of Felicia of Orlando, FL and Arthur Lastoskie of Harleysville, PA. Al is also survived by six grandchildren and a great-grandson. He is also survived by a brother Walter Lastoskie of Florida and pre-deceased by six brothers and a sister. A Funeral Mass will be celebrarted in St. Aloysius R.C.C. Beech & Hanover Streets, Pottstown, PA on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Township. A viewing will be Wednesday from 9 – 10:15 A.M. in the Gathering Center of St. Aloysius R.C.C. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Building Fund of St. Aloysius R.C.C. 223 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
